Typical sample interval on flight lines: 5m
Accuracy: <1m up to an altitude of 200m

Navigation:
Navigation is by Fugro Omnistar Real-Time Differential GPS with a sampling interval of 0.5sec and positional accuracy <1m.

 Altimeters and Thermometers:
Each aircraft is equipped with an Allied Signal (Bendix-King) KRA-405B Radar Altimeter, two barometric altimeters (one digital, one analogue) and a digital outside-air-temperature (OAT) sensor. The sample rate of the analogue instruments is 1sec.

Acquisition System:   GeOZDAS system,  incorporating NovAtel OEMV-1 VBS GPS Receiver employing integrated OmniStar RTCM corrections. Unit records and formats all geophysical parameters while providing navigation and steering facilities for the pilot.
